In 1953, Xueyu Lee started planting peonies under the system of collective ownership until China’s reform and opening up in 1978, in 1978 the land contract policy was implemented in mainland China, so our second leader Hongli Lee transferred 1.33 hectares of local land for planting herbs peonies and woody peonies.
Lee set up his own small farm in 1980, then run as a family workshop.
After 42years of hard work, the farm area has reached 253.3 hectares at this time, and it can produce 7.5 million fresh cut flowers of mainstream peony and 2.3 million rhizomes of woody peonies of various specifications, thank you.
